Our pack

Kiri

Always ready for a hug or a snuggle, Kiri is our shy, sweet girl. She’s the slightly larger of the two sisters, in height and length. She also has more wheaten in her coat, making her lighter than her sister, Caoimhe, for now. (Coats can change several times in an Irish Wolfhounds’ life!)

Lovingly referred to as the older sister, Kiri will hang back innocently while Caoimhe gets into mischief.

Kiri is a gentle and still soul, content to lean on you while you read a book. To look into your eyes and remind you why Wolfhounds are revered for the ancient glimmer in their eye.

Kiri; Mountain.

ARThur

Our sweet bear of a Hound, Art. Majestic and commanding in presence, we cannot go anywhere without being stopped for photos or pets when he’s with us! Despite his large appearance, he is the gentlest.

He’s a vocal guy, always ready to talk back. Especially if dinner is late!

He gives the best cuddles and is my personal actual sized Teddy Bear.

Arthur (Celtic); Bear.

Caoimhe

The mischievous and ornery younger sister: Caoimhe is the one who, when given the chance, will get onto the furniture the second you step out of the room. The one who is trying to get to whatever is on the kitchen countertops, and the one sitting ontop of your large potted plant she dug out herself. (True story!)

Despite your protests, she will climb in bed with her muddy paws just to plant kisses all over your face.

Despite the independence we adore in her personality, she can’t stand to be without her humans or sister. She loves to be with people, and gives Kiri the courage to approach new friends. She really encapsulates the determined and playful nature of sighthounds, as we could definitely see her out hunting in the rolling hills of Ireland!

Caoimhe (Gaelic); Beauty and Grace.

Fyn

Our timid boy! Fyn isn’t big on new people, but once he warms up to you, he’ll be your best friend. Fyn is content to stay in the corner while the other three come up to greet you. But one-on-one, he’ll back his big butt up and sit in your lap, roll over for tummy rubs, and give you his gigantic paw so you can’t ignore his requests for affection. Despite his timidity, he is an absolute stunner. We cannot wait to see what fair-haired babies he gives us!

Taller than Art, and as gentle as a lapdog, Fyn is the perfect family dog we could not imagine our loves without!

Fyn (Gaelic); Fair.
